A workaround for the final mission "a revenger's tragedy" in gta 4 if it doesn't work for you, there's always the "fraps" solution (google fraps gta4 helicopter) re-assigning keys did not help. Fyi: there is a bug on gta iv that makes it impossible to finish 1 of the 2 possible final missions (whilst playing on xbox one x) during the mission “out of commission” (revenge ending), there is a segment where you have to tap a repeatedly to climb into the helicopter.

Heck it was a very easy button tapping to get into the helicopter after the bug was gone finished the mission and in true gta iv pc bug fashion, the game crashed after the credits rolled and controls returned to the game oh well.
